SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS
Cultural Perspectives Journal for Literary and British Cultural Studies in Romania is issued annually, in December. The manuscripts should be sent by June 15 every year.
The manuscript should conform to the following norms:
- The papers in electronic format B5 (minimum 10 pages) shall be sent to the following address: email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
- Cultural Perspectives. Journal for Literary and British Cultural Studies in Romania is issued annually, in December. The manuscripts for issue 27/2022 with the theme Modes of cultural resistance should be sent by June 15, 2022.
- The paper title shall be written on the fourth line under the header/page top. The paper title shall be written in title case, centred, bold.
- Author’s name shall be written in bold 1 line under the title. On the next line the affiliation (“University of…”) shall be written (in bold), and on the next line after the affiliation the country of the author shall be written (in bold), aligned to the right. If there are more authors no line shall be left between their names. If the affiliation is the same it will be written once under both authors’ names; if the affiliations are different, they will be written under the names of each author.
- Each paper shall have an abstract (maximum 250 words, Book Antiqua 10) written 1 line after the authors’ names. The word Abstract – written in bold, not indented followed on the next line by the body of the abstract, unbolded, indented. The abstract should include purpose, approach/methodology, research limitations, practical implications, findings/ empirical analysis, originality/creative value.
- Each paper should have 5-7 keywords, size 10. The word Keywords in bold, justify, unindented; the actual keywords in italics, immediately after the word Keywords followed by “:”, single line spacing.
- Manuscripts should be reasonably divided into sections, and where necessary, subsections, with numbered headings: 1, 2, 3, etc. (and/or 1, 1.1., 1.2. etc.) separated with 1 line from the body of the text with their title written in bold. The subsections will not be separated from the headings and from the body of the text and will be written in bold.
- The charts and figures shall be saved as jpeg and the reference should be (Fig. 1).
- The manuscript should include footnotes that contain supplementary explanations if necessary (and not bibliographival references; for references see below), Book Antiqua 10.
- References may be cited in the text by giving the name of the author(s) and year of publication (in parentheses), and page number. For example: (Barry 1971: 231-232).
- Quotations from the analyzed work or from other studies which are longer than 2 lines should be written with a line distance from the body of the article (above and below), indented once with no inverted commas, Book Antiqua 11.
- The work should include Conclusions, one line spaced from the body of the text. The word Conclusions (without a section number), unindented. The actual conclusions on the next line.
- The Bibliography should be presented after 1 line spaced the conclusions as follows:
- The word Bibliography should be written with Book Antiqua 11. The bibliographical list shall be written with Book Antiqua 10 on the next line.
